Convert units of time

Time does not work in tens and hundreds like metres or money. Learn the facts: 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week. To change to a smaller unit, multiply: 3 hours = 3 × 60 = 180 minutes. To change to a bigger unit, divide. With mixed units, change the big unit first, then add the extra part. Be careful with decimals: 1.5 hours means one and a half hours, which is 90 minutes, not 1 hour 50 minutes.
